IVAN MILEV BAND Returns to Joe’s Pub
Back by popular demand after their last sold out Joe’s Pub appearance, Ivan Milev Band returns to the Pub on Thursday, November 15th.
So get ready for some Balkan revelry, with NYC’s own treasure, the Ivan Milev Band. Comprised of transplanted Eastern European musical virtuosos, world-renowned veteran accordionist Milev leads his six-piece attack (accordion, violin, guitar, bass, drums and vocals) through a dizzying repertoire of Bulgarian and Balkan folk tunes guaranteed to rouse even the most sedentary of club-goers.
Following last year’s applauded release of their first studio album, The Flight of Krali Marco, the band roused crowds at venues such as Joe’s Pub, BAM, and at the 2nd Annual Main Squeeze Music Festival this past year.
So don’t snooze. Come see how frenetic fretwork and rapid-fire accordion can make the world go round.
